I really wanted to like it, but the battery life has been disappointing. The power options don’t help much, and it feels like I’m constantly watching the battery drain. i’m starting to wish I had picked something else...

"I bought this Dometic product thinking it..."
I bought this Dometic product thinking it would be easy to take care of, but the cleaning is more annoying than I expected. Dirt gets trapped in all these tiny spots, and some of the parts dont come off as easily as they should.
I looked on dometic.com for help, but the info there wasnt very useful, just really basic stuff. For what it costs, I thought it would be less fussy to maintain. I wouldnt buy it again.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this looks in my van. The design is clean and fits the space nicely. My only small gripe is that I wish the colors matched a little better, but overall I’m happy with it.

"Got the wrong part and way too many reminders"
I ordered a fridge part and what showed up was something completely different. I figured it would be an easy fix, but support wasn’t really helpful and I still didn’t get a clear answer. On top of that, the constant reminders/messages were aggressive, which just made the whole experience more annoying.

I thought this would be easier to move around, but am I missing something? It feels heavy and awkward to carry, so it doesn’t really seem that portable to me.

"Easy return, just a little quiet on updates"
I accidentally ordered the wrong part from Dometic, so I had to send it back. The return form was actually easy to find, which I appreciated because I hate digging around for tiny links at the bottom of a page. Filling it out was straightforward too, no weird extra steps or confusing boxes. Shipping it back was simple enough, and I kept checking the tracking once it showed as delivered. After that, though, things got a little quiet. I found myself checking my email more than I probably needed to, including the spam folder, just to see if there was any update on the refund status. The refund did show up after about a week, so everything worked out fine in the end. I just wish there had been a couple more status emails along the way, even something basic like “we received your return” would’ve been nice. Overall, good experience, just a small communication gap. 4 stars from me

It worked fine at first and seemed better in the beginning, but after one season it started having issues. Since then, the problems just keep coming back, so it’s been disappointing

I found what I needed eventually, but the menus had me clicking around more than I wanted. Checkout went through fine in the end, it just felt a little slower than it should’ve. Not terrible, not amazing either

I ordered from dometic thinking it would arrive around the time they said, but it ended up taking way longer. I was kind of in a rush to get it, so the lack of tracking updates made it even more frustrating. I reached out to support, but they weren’t really much help. Annoying experience overall

"Setup Was More Confusing Than It Needed to Be"
I tried using the manuals on dometic.com to get everything set up, but they made the process more frustrating than it should’ve been. The product info was there, but the instructions didn’t line up perfectly with my model, and a few of the diagrams were so tiny they barely helped.

The biggest issue was that the next steps weren’t always clear, so I kept stopping and guessing what I was supposed to do next. I ended up checking forums and YouTube just to finish what should’ve been a basic setup. It wasn’t a total disaster, but for the price, I really expected better instructions.

I’ve been trying to get a basic replacement part from dometic what a headache. It feels like every part I need is either out of stock, discontinued, or it just tells me to contact a dealer, and then the dealer can’t really do anything either. So now my fridge is basically useless because of one small part, which is so frustrating because nobody seems to have a straight answer about when it’ll be available or if I’m just supposed to keep waiting forever. For what dometic charges, I really expected replacement parts to be a lot easier to find.

"Feels a bit overpriced for what you get"
The price felt kind of high to me, and for roughly what I paid, I was expecting a bit more. It works okay, more or less, but not enough that I’d say it really feels worth it. Once you start adding a few extras, the total climbs quickly. I wish I had looked around at some cheaper options first. Overall, it just doesn’t feel like great value

I bought this Dometic unit for my camper, the cooling has been underwhelming. It takes forever just to bring the temperature down a few degrees, even when I’m running it at night. I’ve used other camper AC units in the past that cooled much faster, so I was expecting more from this one, especially for the price. Disappointed overall...

"Not sure why it didn’t fit"
I ordered this replacement part because the site said it should fit my Dometic fridge, but when I tried to install it, it just didn’t line up at all. Maybe I missed something, but I double-checked as best I could. I reached out to support and they basically just told me to check the model again. Ended up wasting time and paying return shipping, which was frustrating.
