"This company is one of the major issues plaguing our world."
This company's phone system is incredibly frustrating as it only leads customers in circles. When you select one of the options, it simply takes you back to the same phone tree. After reading the reviews, it becomes evident that this company is engaging in deceptive practices. Their products are of poor quality and they show no interest in providing good customer service. I urge everyone to boycott their products in order to force them out of business. It is clear that they should be thoroughly investigated.

"This is a complete waste of time..."
According to the Dometic website, they state that if you have any inquiries about their products, you can contact them by filling out the support form provided below. They assure that they will respond within three business days.

On July 18th, I submitted a question but received no response even after a week had passed. Frustrated, I decided to submit it again, emphasizing that I had not received a response the first time. Unfortunately, I still did not receive any response on the second attempt.

Overall, this experience has been a complete waste of time.

On July 18th, I submitted a question but received no response even after a week had passed. Frustrated, I decided to submit it again, emphasizing that I had not received a response the first time. Unfortunately, I still did not receive any response on the second attempt.

Overall, this experience has been a complete waste of time.

"This product requires modification to be weatherproof."
I bought the Dometic Hub Redux 2.0 Shelter and four side screens from @AttwoolsCamping&Leisure in March of this year. I've used it around 20 times as a base camp shelter for my drone business. Initially, I was disappointed that I chose the Hub 2.0 with plastic ring side-screen fixings instead of the 1.0 version's zip fastening. However, after experiencing zipper failures, I now see the benefit of the 2.0's simplicity. Nevertheless, the plastic hooks are not up to par and the side-screen doesn't effectively keep out heavy rain. I've replaced the hooks with small 'O' ring Carabiners, which has made the Hub more durable. Using tiny cable-ties would achieve the same result.

The Hub has a sleek, modern appearance that stands out on-site, which is why I selected it. I didn't want a traditional "tent" because it wouldn't look professional. Additionally, the Hub 2.0 is the lightest shelter available and can be packed into a medium-sized holdall from @MountainEquipment. It weighs 18kgs, making it easier to carry on my back for walks in, compared to frame awnings which have been more challenging in the past.

"I have been waiting for over a year for the freezer door part of my RV refrigerator."
I had a terrible experience with the customer service at this company. The plastic hinge on my RV refrigerator freezer door broke, and I was informed that it needed to be replaced as an assembly. They assured me that the part was in stock and I ordered it for $171. However, after waiting for 2 weeks, I decided to call and inquire about the status of my order. To my disappointment, they informed me that the part was actually not in stock and I would have to wait until it became available.

A whole year went by, and out of the blue, they attempted to charge my credit card for the part. However, the charge was denied. I immediately contacted them to address the issue, but they had no knowledge of who had tried to charge my card. They did offer me the option to reorder the part, even though it was still out of stock. To make matters worse, the price of the part had increased to over $300, and they couldn't provide any information on when I would receive it.

This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. I strongly advise against purchasing their products if you anticipate needing replacement parts. Good luck if you find yourself in a similar situation.

This company fails to respond to support requests or answer their phone number in South Africa. I have reached out for support regarding a 2 plate stove on two occasions, but received no response. I strongly advise avoiding this company.

"The Dometic 320 series toilet is absolute junk."
This is an absolute joke! I own the Dometic 320 series toilet and it has hardly been used, but the foot pedal broke and the half ball won't open. To make matters worse, they don't even sell the half ball separately. They have the audacity to ask for $459 for a new toilet. This is nothing but a scam!

I recently had a problem with the Dometic toilet in my caravan. The valve failed, so I decided to purchase new parts. However, to my disappointment, I discovered that the Dometic toilet I received was manufactured in China. On top of that, the replacement part I ordered from Dometic in Australia turned out to be incompatible. This situation has left me extremely frustrated, especially since we rely on our toilet daily while traveling through the outback of Australia.
